Ally and Nate, as we found out during the reception speeches, could not resist one another. I think these images make that obvious as well that their chemistry is strong along with their intentional commitment. As Ally watched Nate interact so lovingly with his family, she knew he was the kind of man she could trust to live life beside. The family and friends involved in this wedding were the closest, most dedicated of people. The kind of people who jump at the chance to help. For instance, Ally's mother made homemade pumpkin treats--YEAH, they are as delicious as they sounds. The couple is also close friends with the well-known and skilled Olive Branch Botany, who did some incredible arbor work, bouquet arrangements, and more.
Snowy and sunny is such a gorgeous combination and an exciting environment to photograph in. Beautiful, cool evergreens mixed with raspberry pinks and mulberry dresses, stunning North Dakota scenery, and always laughing faces of all involved. There was so much goodness in this day, the blessings kept coming.
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. ~ Genesis 2:22-24
My last wedding of 2017. It did not disappoint! Ally and Nate are both passionate photographers, so being trusted with the task of photographing their day obviously was a great joy and honor to me!
Here are just the favorites.
