Love and donuts.
On this chilly November day in Minnesota almost 1 year ago, I witnessed one of the most beautiful days. I will never tire of weddings because it’s not just about Emily and Jonah, not just about the bride and the groom, but also about all the people around them who love them to the point of tears. The people who would do anything for them. Watching that kind of love unfold will always be an honor.
Jonah and Emily’s vision for the day entailed a classy and FUN day with plum and earthtones, lots of greenery, champagne and a donut bar completed with a homemade donut wall! They made it themselves! I was especially enamored by Emily’s art deco inspired dress and wild textures of the bouquets. Their first dances were some of the most moving I have ever seen as Jonah and His mother simply and sweetly held each other the entire time. Seeing their bond and the way Jonah honored his mother in this way told how he would in likeness treat his bride for the rest of their days.
